As a level 2 engineer you will possess a good grasp of airplane structural analysis methods and tools for both metallic and/or composite structures. Under general direction you will ensure the airplane has sufficient strength to endure all conditions encountered during its operational life and that the structure meets all design requirements including fail‑safety, durability and damage tolerance where applicable.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nPerform detailed structural analysis to determine structural integrity margins of safety using classical techniques and Boeing tools to support production, customer inquiries, service bulletin development, failure investigation and regulatory agency coordination.\n\nProvide guidance on structural design and configuration development.\n\nWork with the team to integrate component‑level structural models and perform integrated analysis using finite element methods to verify structural integrity.\n\nDocument structural analyses and data required to show compliance with Boeing, customer and regulatory requirements.\n\nParticipate in the resolution of technical, operational and quality issues that cannot be resolved by the customer (internal and external).\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Aeronautical, Civil or Structural Engineering.\n\n1+ years related work experience in structural/stress analysis.\n\nExperience with engineering classification such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Civil or Structural Engineering.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nABET‑accredited or equivalent engineering degree.\n\nFamiliarity with composite structure.\n\nFamiliarity with stress analysis of primary and secondary structure.\n\nDrug Free Workplace\nBoeing is a Drug Free Workplace.
