This position provides support for the pelletizing process.Summary Of ResponsibilitiesObserve operations within the pelletizing process.Perform daily inspections on plant equipment.Observe the balling process, adjusting as needed to maintain a stable operation.Check process grate dust valves, ensuring process material is flowing properly.Operate skid steers, front-end loaders, man lifts, overhead cranes as needed.Load pellets into railroad cars from storage bin utilizing manual operated gates.Other duties as assigned.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent requiredMust be at least 18 years of ageHave the ability to read, understand and follow safety information, operating instructions and procedure manualsExcellent safety record and genuine concern for safety in the workplaceExcellent attendance recordMust be willing to work in a hot and dirty environment.Must be willing to work rotating shifts, nights, weekends and holidaysMust be willing to work 12-hour shiftsPreferred QualificationsTwo years of experience working in an industrial plant settingCleveland-Cliffs Inc. is the largest flat-rolled steel company and the largest iron ore pellet producer in North America.
