You will work on server designs that enable automated assembly to increase throughput.\n\nKey job responsibilities\n\nPerform mechanical and thermal design and development for complex electronic systems\n\nDesign and validate systems and subsystems to meet program objectives\n\nParticipate in the cross‑discipline design process working with other HW and SW team members to develop optimized integrated solutions\n\nConduct failure analysis and solution validation for product development and fleet systems\n\nManage interaction with overseas resources\n\nProvide mentorship and technical reviews to a team of mechanical/thermal design engineers\n\nAssess server designs for automated assembly, design for automation and throughput efficiency\n\nBasic Qualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent\n\n7 years experience in thermal and mechanical design of server technologies or equivalent technology\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nMaster’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent\n\n9 years experience in thermal and mechanical design of server technologies or equivalent technology\n\nExperience with the project management of technical projects\n\nExperience with thermal analysis tools such as CFD (e.g., Flotherm, ANSYS Icepak, or similar)\n\nProficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo/ProE)\n\nExperience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production\n\nExperience in systems integration of complex server products\n\nExpertise or familiarity with automation and design for automated assembly\n\nBase Salary\nUSA, WA, Seattle ‑ 159,200.00 – 215,300.00 USD annually .
