The Intrinsic Development team has successfully developed everything from hospitality venues, to mixed-use, multi-family, hotels, clinics, offices and restaurants across 6 Midwestern states. We are excited to expand into Lee's Summit, Missouri which will be the new home for our corporate office. This expansion coincides with the launch of our new 260+ acre mixed-use development, which will feature approximately 2,900 luxury multi-family units, as well as over 660,000 square feet of retail, office, entertainment, hospitality space, and other related commercial uses.\r\nConstruction Superintendent Overview: Our Construction Project Superintendent is responsible for executing field level overview of subcontractor teams schedules, driving production expectations in the field and holding the teams accountable for trade quality and cycle time. Effective execution of this position will reduce overall construction cycle times and driving maximum project installation cost efficiencies.\r\nConstruction Superintendent Responsibilities:\r\nPlay a \"hands-on\" role in coordination and supervision of assigned construction projects.\r\nResponsible for conducting and monitoring all subcontract work to see it is performed safely and in accordance with the plans, specifications, schedule and budget.\r\nResponsible for daily coordination and oversight of subcontractors and job-site logistics.\r\nMonitor the on-site performance of subcontractors, suppliers, labor and equipment.\r\nQuality Control/Quality Assurance of all work performed by subs on-site.\r\nCoordinate and schedule special and permit-required inspections.\r\nOversee records of material deliveries, verify condition, and inventory to assure that quantities on bills of lading match deliveries.\r\nCommunicate daily with Project Manager on project status and issues that arise that may affect budget or timeline.\r\nReview project budgets and timelines with Project Manager weekly/monthly.\r\nMaintain/update construction schedules and 'look ahead' schedules.\r\nCoordinate with vendors for job-site material deliveries and requirements.\r\nComplete daily/weekly reports and maintain photo documentation of progress.\r\nBuild/maintain a \"Safety First\" job-site culture and enforce job site clean up.\r\nMulti-Family Construction Superintendent Qualifications:\r\nRequired:5 years of proven experience in multi-family, hospitality and/or commercial construction.\r\nPreferred:Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.\r\nProficiency with computer technology and applications, including MS Office, MS Project and other construction related software.
