Maintenance Supervisor

Job Title: Maintenance SupervisorAs the Maintenance Supervisor you will be responsible for the direct supervision of the electrical and mechanical maintenance workforce. The position also provides backup supervision for the Maintenance Planners and predictive maintenance workforce. Additional job duties include improving maintenance methodologies and improving equipment reliability.Reports To:Maintenance ManagerWe are currently seeking qualified candidates for this position. Manage the daily activities of the electrical and mechanical maintenance teams, maintain a strong, visible presence in the Plant.Provide expertise to Maintenance, Operations, Engineering, and contractors to resolve complex issues.Plan and schedule work orders while ensuring equipment reliability across the plant.Ensure equipment reliabilityImprove maintenance methodology (Leadership, Planning & Scheduling, Skills Development, Root Cause Analysis, Workshop & Facilities, Engineering Interface, Preventive & Predictive Maintenance, Technical Database, Storeroom Management)Ensure ESH Compliance by participating in and supporting safety and environmental programs (BBS, Safety Meetings, Contractor/Guest Safety, cGMP, OSHA/EPA/FDA/DOT, etc.)What skills and experience do I need to be successful in this role? High School diploma or GED requiredMinimum of 3 years plant maintenance experienceBasic knowledge of all crafts: mechanical, electrical, instrumentationStrong problem solving and troubleshooting skillsDemonstrated leadership and change management skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organizationStrong Organizational skills.
