This is a high-visibility, onsite role ideal for an Accounting Manager ready to step into a Controller position.\nWhat You’ll Do\nLead full-cycle accounting, month-end and year-end close\nPrepare financial statements and management reports\nManage WIP, job costing, and percentage-of-completion accounting\nOversee cost accounting and project financials\nHandle union accounting, reporting, and payroll coordination\nAssist with lien releases and project documentation\nComplete customer and project pre-qualification packages\nSupport budgeting and forecasting initiatives\nManage banking relationships, including line of credit reporting and covenant compliance\nSupport HR-related accounting functions (medical insurance, pension programs)\nServe as the financial lead for the office, supporting ownership and leadership\nWhat They’re Looking For\n5–10+ years of full-cycle accounting experience\nConstruction industry experience REQUIRED (GC or subcontractor)\nStrong cost accounting and WIP reporting experience\nExperience with $10M–$20M+ revenue environments\nHands-on professional comfortable owning all aspects of accounting\nVista by Viewpoint software experience REQUIRED\nAbility to communicate professionally with banks and AR customers\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (highly preferred)\n**************LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY ************\nPlease Note: This position is open to candidates who are authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
