Account ManagerThe Account Manager of Commercial Grounds Management will focus on multiple aspects of commercial grounds landscape maintenance services and all client needs, as well as performing specific planning, administrative, and regulatory functions. The primary goals are customer retention, enhancement sales, and new CGM sales. The Account Manager will promote teamwork within the company and provide clear customer expectations for production staff.Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Management and AccountingKeep informed of new practices in green industry.Keep informed of new or potential sales.Customer Service and SalesServe as main field contact person for clients.Customer retentionMaintain excellent on-site relations and communications with clients, contractors and/or subcontractors.Meet monthly sales goals for enhancements.Main contact for Enhancements on your sitesMeet with clients as necessary and acquire information needed to estimate new sales.Assemble proposals for potential Grounds Management Customers.ProductionProvide clear customer expectations to production to execute efficiently and adequately.Safely drives company-owned vehicles.Work with other Account Managers to ensure a consistent product.Work with other managers on work schedules, including seasonal work needs.Work with other departments and personnel when needed.HorticultureKnowledgeable of all horticulture practices associated with commercial grounds maintenance.Understands what we do as a company regarding commercial grounds maintenance.Promote proper horticulture by educating customers and providing proper horticulture requests to production.Pay/Benefits PackageCompetitive pay; paid weeklyCompany VehicleAffordable Health Insurance with Vision/Dental Option120 hours (PTO) Paid Time Off Annually + 10 Observed HolidaysCompany Matched 401KRequirementsAbility to lift to 50 pounds on a routine basisAbility to bend and stoop continuallyAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsAbility to work around bees, poison ivy, pollen, thorns, and other environmental risksMust be able to work with minimal supervisionMust wear sturdy shoes, company uniforms, and assigned PPEMust present yourself in a professional, polite mannerMust practice safety with chemicals and equipmentMust wear company-provided eye and ear protection as requiredMust have valid FL Driver's license and maintain a good driving record (CDL preferred)Must be able to pass a criminal background checkMust be willing to obtain FL Pesticide applicators licenseMust have good communication skills and ability to motivate othersMust comply with Bland's policies and proceduresMust be able to pass a criminal background checkNoteAs we continue to grow as a company, all positions have significant opportunities for advancement.
