{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e632cf3eeb3184cf00eb7382","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e632cf3eeb3184cf00eb7382","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e632cf3eeb3184cf00eb7382","title":"Electronics Testers - 1st Shift","description":"Work location: TLA Neptune Plant, 405 Essex Rd, Neptune, NJ 07753, USA.\r\nJob Summary\r\nAs an Electronics Tester, you test our products throughout the production lifecycle, including automated and manual test stations, sub-testing, board and component level troubleshooting, and first-level tests such as Hi Pot and Ground Continuity.\r\nEssential Duties, Responsibilities & Authorities\r\nTest using various equipment (scopes, meters, signal generators, power sources, etc.).\r\nLocate and understand associated technical procedures.\r\nNavigate computer functions.\r\nRead detailed schematics for troubleshooting.\r\nPerform board and component level troubleshooting.\r\nSupport department tasks: maintenance of test equipment and test stations, ESD surface testing, testing equipment calibrations, ionizer testing and calibration inspections, shelf-life inspections.\r\nQualifications for an Electronics Tester\r\nAssociate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school.\r\n3–6 years of related experience or a combination of relevant education, training, and experience.\r\nMust pass Electrical Safety Training and Technician Electrical Knowledge test.\r\nAbility to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.\r\nProficiency with internet/intranet, cross-functional ERP software, Microsoft Office, and other software packages.\r\nAbility to work with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, geometry, and trigonometry; apply fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions.\r\nProblem-solving skills for practical problems with limited standardization; interpret various instructions (written, oral, diagram, schedule).\r\nSalary Range\r\nHourly rate: USD $20.00 – $24.00. Base pay depends on training, skills, experience, business needs, and market demand.
