Our teams are dynamic, focused on delivering creative solutions with a side of fun.\n\nResponsibilities\nBe responsible for roughly 80-90% hands-on coding and serve as a technical leader by mentoring junior engineers and applying technical expertise to challenging programming and design problems\nDrive the design and implementation of reliable and scalable backend software solutions that solve critical customer problems and interact with numerous other services.\nDeliver high quality web application code and contributing to overall site stability by conducting code reviews and writing unit and integration tests\nContribute to the\ndesign/archite\ncture of the project and developing web software while implementing best practices for architecture, design, coding standards & CI/CD\n\nWork\ncollaborativel\ny with AI experts and integrate AI into existing systems, leveraging expertise and guidance as needed\n\nPropose AI solutions that can be applied to a variety of problems\n\nQualifications\nBS/MS in Computer Science or related area or equivalent experience\n5+ years of experience developing\nsystems/softwa\nre for large businesses using Java/J2EE, Python, or Go\n\nStrong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences\nExperience with databases, cloud, APIs, and other technologies to ensure that the application is scalable, secure, and performant.\nExperience with unit testing and Test Driven Development (TDD)\nExperience developing, maintaining, and innovating large scale, consumer facing web applications\nPossess basic understanding of AI concepts and foundations\nAbility to work\ncollaborativel\ny with AI experts and integrate AI into existing systems as needed, with guidance\n\nFamiliarity with data and metrics required for building and evaluating AI models\nConversant with AI Native principles and able to apply them to software development\nStrong\nproblem-solvin\ng skills and ability to think creatively about software and AI based solutions\n\nAbility to communicate effectively with\ncross-function\nal teams\n\nAbility to keep up-to-date with the latest trends and advances in AI technology and incorporate them into software development practices\n\nIntuit provides a competitive compensation package with a strong pay for performance rewards approach.
