In this role, you will wear many hats: ideating, prototyping, and ultimately shipping frontend experiences in cutting-edge AI products. Along with building, you will identify key areas for engineering investment, build the technical foundation as we scale, and lead by example to build a healthy and strong engineering culture.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nCollaborate with Design, Research and Backend Engineering to build novel AI experiences\n\nBuild beautiful, production-ready desktop and web experiences with React, Typescript, and CSS\n\nSet talent and culture standards for Worktrace AI’s engineering team\n\nYou’ll excel in this role if you\n\nHave 3-5 years of professional experience as a frontend engineer\n\nAre proficient with React and TypeScript, or another modern framework with willingness to learn React\n\nHave developed desktop apps with Electron that interact with system APIs\n\nHave solid experience with CSS frameworks like Tailwind\n\nHave a strong sense for clean design, accessibility, and polished experiences\n\nLove rapidly building user-facing products in a fast-paced environment\n\nFind joy in delivering AI magic moments to users\n\nCan convert vague specs into thoughtfully completed features\n\nBring strong opinions about frontend architecture, and hold them loosely\n\nBenefits and perks\n\nTop-of-market salary and equity\n\nVisa sponsorship\n\nLunch stipends\n\nGenerous health and dental insurance for you and dependents\n\nUnlimited PTO\n\n401K\n\nThe Team\n\nOur founders are Angela Jiang (CMU PhD), an early product manager at OpenAI and led the launches of GPT-3.5 and GPT-4, and Deepak Vasisht (MIT PhD), a CS Professor at UIUC who has deployed cutting edge AI into industries spanning agriculture to space.
