Department Parks & Recreation Location COMLARA Park Position Type Seasonal Salary Date 2025.02.11 Description Boat Concession Attendant Pay rate: $15.37-$16.92 per hour Schedule: Part-time, Weekends & Holidays. Variable Start & End Dates. Nature of Work: Responsibility of this 20-30 hours per week position is to greet the public, collect fees paid for facility usage and merchandise. Attendants are required to work two to five days per week. Weekends and holidays required. Supervised by Operations Supervisor. Examples of Work: Provides outstanding customer service to the public. Involves collection of Boat Rental fees. Sales of Bait and Tackle items. Responsible for appearance of the Boat Rental Facility. Inventory of items. Additional duties as assigned. Desirable knowledge, abilities, and skills: Ability to quickly learn computerized point-of-sale system. Ability to uphold departmental policy and procedures in a firm, consistent manner. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees. Requirements: Must be willing to work all or some of the following: early mornings on weekends. Must have reliable transportation to and from work. Must be punctual for all work shifts. Must be professional in appearance. Weekend work required.
