Cloud Engineer Intern
Job Description: Assist in building and improving scalable, secure cloud infrastructure on AWS and/or GCP that supports real-time voice authentication and fraud detection systems Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and containerized environments (e.g., Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes) to enable reliable deployments Help enhance monitoring and observability by working with logs, metrics, and alerting systems to improve system reliability Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues, implement small features, and improve performance and cost efficiency Apply security-minded engineering practices, including safe deployments, secrets management, and least-privilege access Use AI-assisted tools (e.g., code generation, log analysis, LLM-based search) to improve debugging, monitoring, and engineering productivity Support cloud cost analysis and optimization efforts by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting improvements Requirements: Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field Experience through coursework, projects, or internships in software engineering, cloud infrastructure, or DevOps/SRE Familiarity with at least one cloud platform (AWS or GCP) Experience with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Go, Bash) Basic understanding of version control (Git) Exposure to containerization or infrastructure-as-code concepts (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI) (Nice-to-have) Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch) (Nice-to-have) Exposure to cloud security concepts (IAM, secrets xywuqvp management, least privilege) (Nice-to-have) Experience with AI/ML tools, APIs, or coursework (Nice-to-have) Contributions to open-source, hackathons, or technical projects (Nice-to-have) Benefits: Hands-on experience working on real production systems at scale Mentorship from experienced cloud, DevOps, and SRE engineers Exposure to AI-assisted engineering tools and modern infrastructure practices A collaborative, remote-first environment with opportunities to connect in person The opportunity to make a real impact—and potentially receive a return offer
