Architectural Millwork Project Manager

The company values collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all project phases.Role Description The Architectural Millwork Project Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Lawrenceville, GA. This position oversees millwork projects from award through closeout, including reviewing contracts, schedules, and construction drawings to ensure scope clarity and alignment with client expectations. The Project Manager coordinates with architects, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams to manage submittals, approvals, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation. Day-to-day responsibilities include tracking project costs and timelines, resolving design or field conflicts, issuing change orders, and maintaining clear documentation and communication. The role also involves conducting site visits, participating in project meetings, managing punch lists, and supporting quality, safety, and code compliance throughout the project lifecycle.Qualifications Project coordination skills, including scheduling, budgeting, documentation, and communication across multiple stakeholders.Experience preparing, reviewing, and managing submittals, shop drawings, and approvals for architectural millwork or similar trades.Strong understanding of architecture and construction drawings, with the ability to interpret details, specifications, and related technical documents.Familiarity with Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) requirements and sustainable building practices is preferred.Background in architectural millwork, finish carpentry, or interior construction, ideally in commercial or institutional projects.Proficiency with project management software, MS Office, and PDF markup tools; experience with CAD or BIM is a plus.Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.Ability to work on-site, conduct site walks, and collaborate effectively with field teams and trade partners.Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
