Apply today.\n\nPosition Description – UST Installer\n\nBusiness Group/Dept: Operations\nFLSA: Non-Exempt\nReports To: Director of Field Services\nDate: June 25, 2026\n\nPurpose of the Position\n\nThis position is responsible for the installation, repair, and removal of Underground Storage Tanks (USTs) in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations. The UST Installer will ensure the safe and efficient installation of petroleum storage systems, conduct system testing, and maintain detailed documentation for regulatory submittals. The role requires hands-on technical skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively in a field environment under the direction of a supervisor. This is a non-exempt, hourly position subject to overtime provisions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) and Colorado wage and hour laws.\n\nEssential Position Responsibilities\n\nPerform installation, repair, upgrade, and removal of petroleum storage systems in accordance with state and federal regulations.\nConduct system testing, integrity assessments, and troubleshooting for UST and AST systems.\nEnsure all work complies with environmental regulations, including CDPHE (Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment) UST regulations and NFPA 30 standards.\nMaintain accurate site logs and documentation for regulatory submittals and inspections.\nSupervise or coordinate subcontractors and laborers during field operations.\nRespond to emergency spill situations and oversee initial mitigation and reporting.\nCollaborate with project managers and environmental consultants on project scopes and job sequencing.\nPromote a culture of safety, accountability, and environmental compliance.\nOperate equipment such as excavators and mini track hoes as needed.\nStay current on regulatory changes and industry best practices.\nSupport miscellaneous projects, including compliance testing and environmental site assessments..\nPhysical activities: Performs physical work outdoors in various weather conditions, including lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, and operating heavy equipment.
