Analysis Technical Staff
Location: Tarboro NC, USA
The Analysis Technical Staff is responsible for supporting the analysis of automotive electronic failures from production and customer/field returns to the electrical component level by using various types of test equipment and utilizing product, electronics, & vehicle system knowledge.
Job Summary
Provides technical support of the product (automotive electronics) which may include reliability testing, design of experiments, vehicle testing, etc
Ensuring daily activities meet Quality requirements
Analysis of production rejects to the component level
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Basic knowledge of electronics and troubleshooting methods to analyze assemblies to the component level
Electrical background through schooling or employment
Ability to read and understand specifications/contracts
Well organized and deadline oriented.
Analytical and problem-solving skills, high level of accuracy
Intermediate experience required in Windows, MSWord, Excel, and PowerPoint
Maintain Appropriate Records, analyze data, provide daily/monthly reports
Preferred Qualifications
Work experience in repetitive manufacturing, prefer emphasis in electronics and/or automotive
Knowledge of IPC-A-610, Acceptability of Electronic Assemblies (acceptance criteria or workmanship for electronic assemblies)
Interacts with various levels of associates within the company.
Confirms new production proficiency levels meet company and customer goals and objectives
Maintains knowledge of all processes, procedures, and equipment
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
Ability to handle multiple functions and deadlines
Ability to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions and technical terminology
Ability and passion to carry and communicate the Quality culture.
Education
2 or 4 year College Degree in Related Engineering or Technical Field or equivalent experience and education
