Box Truck Driver – Full-Time Pay: $24 per hour Route Locations: New York City, Brooklyn, New Jersey & Washington DC. We’re passionate about real food and excellent service—and that extends to our logistics team. We are currently seeking a reliable and hard-working Van & Truck Driver to join our operations team. Job Overview- As a Van & Box Truck Driver at 279 McKibbin LLC, you will be responsible for transporting refrigerated food and supplies between our restaurants and vendor partners. You will drive a refrigerated cargo van/truck throughout Manhattan, Brooklyn, DC, and a suburban location in New Jersey, ensuring timely and safe deliveries. Key Responsibilities Safely operate a company cargo van/truck for daily routes Follow assigned schedules to complete deliveries and pick-ups Load and unload heavy food packages and materials Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections Maintain accurate records of deliveries and report any issues Communicate effectively with team members and management Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (Class D, or CDL License) Minimum of 2 years of experience driving a box truck, cargo van or similar vehicle Comfortable lifting and moving heavy items up to 90lbs Familiarity with GPS and route navigation Reliable, punctual, and professional Forklift experience is a plus (but not required) Strong communication and time management skills Medical Examiner's Certificate (For commercial driving) Bilingual (Highly Preferred- Spanish) Benefits Commuter Benefits Paid Breaks Free Meals During Shifts Health Benefits (Medical, Vision, Dental) Paid Training Paid Sick & Family Leave Paid Jury Duty Leave Free Uniform 401k Plan (Employer Match) Birthday Paid Time Off Overtime Pay Referral Program Schedule Full time position (35+ hours) In-person position 8- 10-hour shifts Overnight shifts are required Open availability is required Weekends may be required If you’re a dependable driver with a strong work ethic and a commitment to safety, we’d love to hear from you.
