Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations to ensure food safety and efficiency
Follow proper food handling procedures to uphold health regulations and safety standards
Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal service during busy periods
Support menu planning efforts by suggesting improvements or new dish ideas
Ensure all dishes are cooked to order with attention to quality, taste, and presentation
Requirements
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant settings, preferably with fine dining experience
Strong knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Experience working in dietary departments or providing dietary aide services is a plus
Familiarity with meal preparation, catering, and serving operations
Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Previous kitchen experience within the food industry or culinary environment is highly desirable
