The PM will ensure efficient and compliant delivery of site verification services, oversee staffing and subcontractor management, coordinate with CMS officials, and provide oversight of financial, contractual, and operational activities. The PM will also drive performance, quality, and continuous improvement to meet CMS’s mission of detecting, preventing, and deterring fraud, waste, and abuse in the Medicare and Medicaid program\nKey Responsibilities\nContract & Program Management\nOrganize, direct, and coordinate all project activities in accordance with SOW requirements.\nDevelop, maintain, and update the Project Management Plan (PMP), including staffing, performance metrics, and reporting.\nServe as the single point of contact with CMS, addressing issues, providing status updates, and responding to contractual actions.\nOperational Oversight\nOversee daily site visit operations across the Western Region (30 states + 3 territories).\nEnsure compliance with timelines (30-day, 15-day, 7-day, 48-hour) for site visit requests.\nMonitor workflow, analyze processes, and recommend improvements for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.\nManage dispatch, scheduling, and request management system functionality.\nPersonnel & Subcontractor Management\nRecruit, train, and oversee staff and subcontractors in accordance with CMS background check and training requirements.\nEnsure inspectors follow CMS-approved training, protocols, and professional standards.\nSupervise Site Inspector Manager and Quality Assurance Manager to ensure field operations and reporting meet quality standards.\nFinancial & Compliance Management\nAdminister budgets, procurement, invoicing, and reporting in compliance with contract terms.\nEnsure adherence to legal, regulatory, and CMS-specific requirements.\nProvide timely reports, audits, and deliverables including monthly progress reports, data feeds, and final reports.\nStakeholder Engagement\nConduct regular status meetings with CMS COR and program officials.\nProvide presentations, analyses, and briefings as required.\nAct as the primary escalation point for problem resolution.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.\n10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in managerial or supervisory roles involving complex systems, workflows, or federal programs\nProven experience managing large-scale, multi-state or nationwide programs.\nStrong knowledge of program management methodologies and federal contract compliance.\nDemonstrated ability to manage subcontractors, financial resources, and multi-disciplinary teams.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience interfacing directly with federal clients.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with CMS Provider Enrollment and Oversight programs, PECOS, or similar federal health systems.\nFamiliarity with Medicare/Medicaid provider enrollment, fraud prevention initiatives, and regulatory compliance.\nPMP or equivalent project management certification.\nExperience managing contracts with distributed inspection teams and strict timeliness/quality metrics.\nPerformance Standards\nFully staffed project team throughout the period of performance.\n100% compliance with CMS timeliness and quality standards.\nAccurate and complete reports, delivered per SOW requirements.\nContinuous
