This position is designed to enhance permanency through acting as a liaison with foster care case managers and engaging families in visitations to enhance reunification efforts. This position reports to the Associate Program Director. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned. Interviews applicants, complete new hire onboarding, trains, and mentors new Case Assistants. Directly supervises Case Assistant Supervisor Handles any visitation discrepancies Initiates/implements TBRI training Ensures staff are utilizing TBRI techniques Monitors quality of parent-child visits through observations, documents reviews, client conversations QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. They must maintain a valid drivers license at all times as well as personal vehicle insurance with appropriate levels of coverage. Must hold certification for Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technician within six months of employment and maintain recertification at all times. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: A Bachelors Degree or 5 years of child welfare experience is required, with some training or experience in human services, education, early childhood, or family services. Experience with supervision and a general understanding of the foster care environment.
