Job Summary: Oversees entire shift of manufacturing facility
Essential Functions:
Product Quality – areas of responsibility are:
a. Identification and handling of Non-conforming product
b. Critical Part awareness
c. Knowledge of how to read a Quality Standard
d. Good understanding of the Nifco Quality Policy
e. Basic material knowledge
f. Follows TPM guidelines
Mold Change – areas of responsibility are:
a. Cleaning the grinder
b. Cleaning the dryer and blender
Delivering Material – areas of responsibility are:
a. Material preparation
b. Mixing of concentrate
c. Deliver material to molding presses
d. Fill out the Material Log
e. Fill out Material Tags
f. Ensures that all required material transfers are complete.
Warehouse – areas of responsibility are:
a. Pulling material for shipments
b. Material Warehouse duties
c. Physical inventory
d. Ensures 5S of the area
Safety – areas of responsibility are:
a. Ensures Lock Out/Tag Out procedures are followed
b. Is familiar with and can locate MSDS sheets and is familiar with OSHA’s “Right to Know” policy
c. Has basic Environmental knowledge
d. Completes Safety Orientation
e. Forklift Operation certification
All other duties assigned by management
Education:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience/Skills/Requirements:
Forklift certification required (by Nifco)
Knowledge of injection molding process and raw materials
Excellent verbal, written, analytical, persuasion and interpersonal skills
Excellent problem solving and decision making abilities
Proven ability to handle distribution issues
Knowledge and experience handling quality concerns
Must be able to work independently with very little supervision
Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the Company
Physical/Ergonomic Requirements:
Must be able to lift 60 lbs.
Must be able to work on feet for entire shift
