Young Adult Services (YAS) Coach
Your role as a Young Adult Services Coach Staff:
The YAS Coach role involves supervising coaching clients and assisting them with their daily activities through fieldwork. They will implement treatment plans as specified by the primary service provider, using the Motivational Interviewing model to assess needs, provide guidance, and encourage personal growth. The YAS Coach will assist consumers with daily activities, including providing transportation, and engage in activities that promote self-esteem, social skills, and resiliency, while ensuring service delivery aligns with policies. This role is responsible for documenting client interactions and maintaining regular communication with clinicians and the Manager to ensure smooth operation and client progress.
REQUIRMENTS:
High School diploma or GED required
Bachelors degree from an accredited educational institution preferred
Experience working with psychiatric disorders or co-occurring population preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred
Ability to respond effectively to crisis
Develop and implement consumer centered recovery plans
Good writing/verbal skills and basic computer skills including the willingness to learn agency specific computer programs
Reliable, registered & insured vehicle and approved driving record check.
Approved criminal background check (CORI)

Schedule:
This is a full time position. 10:00am-6:00pm on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and 6:00am-2:00pm on Sunday. Monday and Saturday off.
