This position will focus on avionics development projects pertaining to our MQ-9B RPA platform. This is a multi-faceted role dealing with a wide variety of skill sets and stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.\n\nUnder general supervision with limited review, this position is responsible for determining and developing effective approaches for resolving a wide range of difficult engineering problems. The position will include working with engineering leadership, program management, and customer representatives to develop and execute development, test, and sustainment programs for domestic and international customers.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nWork with the Chief Engineering Office and Program Engineering Teams to fulfill the technical obligations of the Customer Program requirements.\nWork with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering functional teams to lead requirements generation, development timelines, and test execution to ensure timely delivery for Customer Programs.\nSupport operation of engineering systems by evaluating and interpreting needs and developing effective approaches to resolving those issues.\nSupport engineering estimates and proposals in response to customer and program management direction.\nTroubleshoot, analyze, and manage issue tracking in assigned areas by utilizing standard engineering and scientific principles.\nProvide documentation and make technical presentations as required.\nDirect the activities of designers, technicians and may direct the activities of less experienced professional staff.\nMay represent the organization in providing solutions to technical issues associated with specific projects.\nMaintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nResponsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.\nExpected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.\nAble to travel domestically and internationally as required.\n\nWe recognize and appreciate the value and contributions of individuals with diverse backgrounds and experiences and welcome all qualified individuals to apply.\nJob Qualifications\nTypically requires a bachelors degree, masters degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution and progressive engineering experience as follows; four or more years of experience with a bachelors degree or two or more years of experience with a masters degree.
