Network Technician I - SCA
Clearance Requirement: Secret Employment Status - SCA Full-Time Location: Columbus AFB Salary: Salary is dependent on SCA Wage Determination This position is contingent upon contract award expected on or about May 01, 2026. Essential Duties:Install, rack, stack, cable, label, and ground switches, routers, WAPs, and UPS systemsPatch copper and fiber cabling per TIA/EIA standardsAssist with device configuration and firmware updates under the engineer's guidancePerform physical layer troubleshooting (fiber testing, link validation)Support secure device deployment for NIPR and SIPR environmentsConduct preventative maintenance inspections (PMIs)Document asset tagging, labeling, and inventory updatesSupport Tier 2 ticket resolution and on-site troubleshootingAssist the NOC when on-site hands-on activities are required Minimum Experience & Qualifications:Associate's degree in IT, Electronics, or a related field (or equivalent military training)2-4 years of network installation/support experienceExperience working in classified or government facilities preferredExperience working with US Air Force structure (preferred) Certifications: CompTIA Network+ or equivalent Shift (M-F) with on-call rotation 24x7x365
