You will support an existing platform while building pilot solutions, APIs, and custom MVPs in a secure, classified environment.\n\n*Key Responsibilities:*\n\n* Develop robust Python backends using Django, FastAPI (including async/ASGI) with modern Python 3.13+.\n* Build production-grade frontends using React, Next.js or equivalent modern frameworks.\n* Design RESTful APIs, Backend-for-Frontend patterns, and Pydantic-driven validation.\n* Handle PostgreSQL schema design, query optimization, migrations, and data loading.\n* Manage AWS application deployment and troubleshooting across classified partitions and regions (EKS, Aurora, S3, IAM, VPC, KMS).\n* Utilize Terraform for infrastructure module development and maintenance.\n* Integrate authentication using Keycloak, OIDC, SAML, or CAC/PIV with secure token handling.\n* Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and ensure secure development for STIG-hardened, FIPS-validated environments.\n\n*Required Qualifications:*\n\n* *Active TS/SCI Clearance* is strictly required.\n* 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.\n* Proven production experience with Python (Django/FastAPI) and modern frontend (React/Next.js).\n* Hands-on experience with AWS cloud deployment, Terraform, and DevSecOps tools.\n* Must live in Maryland and be comfortable working onsite in Suitland, MD 2-3 days weekly if required.\n\nPay: $150,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year\n\nApplication Question(s):\n* What is your current security clearance level, and is your TS/SCI clearance fully active?
