We are seeking an experienced Urban Planner (AICP) to join our Miami team. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to meaningful community planning, land development, and urban design projects that define the future of our region. You’ll work closely with our planning, engineering, and landscape architecture teams to develop creative, practical, and sustainable solutions for both public and private sector clients.What you'll do:Lead and support a variety of planning projects including land use, comprehensive planning, zoning, site planning, and community redevelopmentPrepare and present reports, studies, and graphics for public hearings, client meetings, and stakeholder engagement sessionsManage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables while ensuring quality and compliance with local, state, and federal regulationsCoordinate with interdisciplinary teams including engineers, surveyors, environmental scientists, and landscape architectsEngage with municipal staff, elected officials, and community members throughout the planning and entitlement processProvide mentorship and technical guidance to junior planners and internsWhat you'll need:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning or a related fieldAICP certification preferred8–15 years of professional planning experience, with a strong understanding of Florida’s regulatory environmentProven experience with comprehensive plans, zoning codes, land development regulations, and public involvementExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare professional reports and presentationsWe offer competitive benefits, including:100% PAID Medical, Dental, and VisionEmployer matched 401K - 100% vested on Day 1 of contribution!!Paid Parental leave and Life InsurancePTO, Holidays, and more!At KEITH, we’re more than engineers, planners, and designers.
