Job Summary We are seeking a strategic Chief Financial Officer or Controller prepared to influence direction, accelerate growth, oversee financial operations, and serve as a true financial partner to executive leadership at Community Clinic. This position will be based in Springdale, AR. This opportunity is built for a finance executive who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution — someone who sees finance not just as oversight, but as a driver of enterprise momentum. Responsibilities Enterprise financial strategy and executive decision support Forecasting, capital planning, and performance optimization Risk management and financial governance Growth initiatives and operational alignment Development of a high-performing finance organization Full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting Improve internal controls, compliance, and operational processes Partner with leadership on budgeting and forecasting Mentor and develop accounting staff Support audit readiness and financial transparency Essential Attributes Executive-level financial leadership with measurable impact Strategic thinking paired with operational discipline Ability to influence leaders and guide complex decisions Experience scaling systems and teams in evolving environments Strong GAAP and internal controls expertise Ability to communicate financial insights to non-finance leaders Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field Significant, progressive experience in financial management Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree in, Business Administration, or Healthcare Administration 8-10 years of progressive experience in healthcare financial management 5-7 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role within a hospital or healthcare system 1-3 years of recent CFO experience in a proprietary health system Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Healthcare Financial Professional (CHFP) Necessary Competencies Comprehensive knowledge of healthcare financial operations, revenue cycle management, and reimbursement methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data and drive strategic decisions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders. Leadership and team-building skills to inspire and guide staff toward achieving organizational goals. Proficiency in financial systems, budgeting software, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) tools. Commitment to regulatory compliance and maintaining high ethical standards. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
