This role is key to the success of our projects—responsible for accurate budgeting, initial structural design concepts, and close collaboration with our sales team. You’ll help shape the scope and feasibility of custom crane systems, ensuring our solutions are both cost-effective and structurally sound.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop detailed project cost estimates based on customer specifications, site conditions, and engineering requirementsCreate initial structural design concepts and layouts for overhead crane systemsCollaborate with the sales team to review proposals, clarify technical details, and support client presentationsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and RFQs to determine labor, material, and equipment costsCoordinate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to validate pricing and timelinesMaintain organized records of estimates, revisions, and project assumptionsProvide value-engineering suggestions to optimize design and cost without compromising qualityParticipate in project kickoff meetings and handoffs to ensure smooth executionQualificationsSuccess in this role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and the ability to think on your feet.
