We generally base our salary decisions on factors including but not limited to, relevant work and leadership experience, education, demonstrated performance, internal equity, and in some cases, geographic location.\n\nScope of Job:\nDevelop engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments associated with the planning, design, licensing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the company SCADA system used for electric grid monitoring, protection and control.\n\nResponsibilities:\nResponsibilities:\nAct as an expert in the work group; train and mentor SCADA specialists and engineers.\nDevelop complex engineering studies, plans, specifications, calculations, evaluations, design documents, and performance assessments.\nDesign the SCADA portion of projects, including network topologies, RTU configurations, I&C device selection, control narrative development, and point list implementation per stakeholder requirements.\nCoordinate project teams, vendors, and stakeholders to drive design, development, procurement, assembly, verification, commissioning, and sustainment of plant SCADA systems.\nWork with stakeholders to ensure the remote command, control, communications, and cybersecurity requirements are satisfied by plant SCADA systems.\nSupport plant modeling, protection scheme development, and AHJ compliance efforts.\nRecommend alternative engineering solutions to management to meet business needs.\nDeliver on commitments and manage outside engineering services to accomplish the assigned work.\nMaintain project timeliness and budgets.\nAnalyze, create, document, and refine SCADA engineering methods.\nProvide hands-on commissioning or troubleshooting support on site, as needed.
