This role focuses on hardening, validating, and monitoring Kubernetes environments -not building them from scratch. You'll work with internal teams and vendors to ensure the platform is secure, compliant, and operationally sound.Key ResponsibilitiesSecure Kubernetes clusters (RBAC, network policies, secrets)Support container security (image scanning, runtime protection)Review architecture and validate configurationsManage vulnerability remediation and risk assessmentsEnsure proper logging, monitoring, and alertingSupport incident response for container environmentsRequirements Hands-on experience with Kubernetes securityStrong understanding of container security (Docker/K8s)Experience with RBAC, network policies, and secrets managementFamiliarity with vulnerability management and security operationsKnowledge of NIST, CIS, or similar frameworksNice to Have Experience with tools like Prisma, Aqua, Sysdig, or Defender
