Irrigation Technician

JOB REQUIREMENTS: RETENTION BONUS \$1,000 Position Summary: TheIrrigation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance,repair, and management of irrigation systems while deliveringhigh-quality service to clients. This role requires strongcommunication, organization, technical skill, and a commitment tosafety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Duties &Responsibilities: Install, maintain, repair, and renovate irrigationsystems, including layout, pipe fitting, sprinkler heads, valves, andvalve boxes Perform weekly irrigation checks and maintain properwatering schedules as assigned by the Manager Troubleshoot irrigationsystems to determine repair needs and ensure accurate, efficient repairsActivate and deactivate irrigation systems based on seasonal schedulesor established priorities Test irrigation systems to ensure properoperation and efficiency Adjust irrigation schedules to maximize systemperformance, workflow efficiency, and water conservation Suggestwatering schedules and water-saving tactics to clients, especiallyduring droughts or water restrictions Strive to exceed clientexpectations by anticipating needs and proposing proactive solutionsCommunicate regularly with customers to ensure satisfaction, resolveissues, and foster long-term relationships Inform Manager of all clientconcerns, extraordinary repairs, and job-site communications promptlyOrganize daily routes and time management in coordination with theManager Ensure all tools, parts, and equipment are properly loaded andready on the truck before each shift Keep the company truck clean,organized, stocked, and professional at all times Respond promptly tothe Manager and follow up on all assigned work orders Purchase parts asneeded while maintaining accurate inventory records and cost controlsEnsure irrigation jobs are completed within budget and meet requiredfinancial performance goals Report equipment issues daily and requestrepairs or service from the mechanic as needed Maintain and updatehistorical data for each account, including water sources, points ofconnection, services performed, and parts installed Maintain safeworking conditions and follow safety policies and procedures at alltimes within assigned territory All other duties as assigned.
