It takes the imagination and passion of all of us—from design and engineering to the manufacturing and marketing of our billions of MedTech products per year—to look at the impossible and find transformative solutions that turn dreams into possibilities.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nImplements and sustains BDPS work process for the manufacturing unit.\n\nIdentifies critical equipment setting and creation of standards.\n\nCreates technical knowledge for the manufacturing unit and transfers the knowledge to the operator and technical associates.\n\nCoaches associates on continuous improvement methodologies within the manufacturing unit.\n\nUnderstands top losses within the manufacturing unit and develops and implements plans to eliminate losses and drive OEE performance.\n\nResponsible for manufacturing unit change control including validation activities, root cause analysis of prioritized OEE losses, and quality events and deviations.\n\nOther duties as required to support the needs of the business.\n\nDeliverables\n\nEnsures safety of all associates and quality of product.\n\nEnsures new manufacturing processes and process improvements meet Manufacturing Unit objectives.\n\nEnsures equipment is running efficiently and effectively.\n\nAnalyzes current state of equipment efficiency to drive OEE improvement and sustainability.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree required in Engineering.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\n\nBachelor's degree Mechanical Engineering\n\nTwo years medical manufacturing experience\n\nThree years manufacturing experience\n\nHigh speed, automated manufacturing experience\n\nAt BD, we prioritize on-site collaboration because we believe it fosters creativity, innovation, and effective problem‑solving, which are essential in the fast‑paced healthcare industry.
