{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"e593e6485a60e666fda7f167","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e593e6485a60e666fda7f167","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/e593e6485a60e666fda7f167","title":"Unarmed Security Guard","description":"Reports to: Branch Manager or Account Manager\n\nJob Summary:\nThis position is under the direct supervision of the Account Manager or Branch Manager and is responsible for protection, safeguarding, and security of assets, personnel, customers and visitors to assigned sites.\n\nJob Duties:\nProtect the interests of the client within the limits of the facility and to protect the lives and property of employees and visitors.\nObserve and report signs of crime or disorder and investigate disturbances.\nPrepare reports on a daily basis as trained and turn them into the proper contacts.\nComplete patrols as required by post orders\nMonitor and control access to property as required by post orders.\nNotify proper authorities in all cases of emergencies as outlined in the post orders.\nReport all violations of company policy and local and federal laws as stated in the Employee Handbook.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities:\nLong hours standing up\nWillingness to work extended hours\n\nThere may be additional responsibilities as specifically required by the client and the assigned post.\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nAbility to maintain safe environment for officers, clients, vendors and employees.\nAbility to deal tactfully with the public\n\nMinimum Requirements:\nHigh School Graduate or GED\nMust be 21 years of age.\nClean criminal background\nMust be able to obtain state required licensing\nMust be able to complete job duties of the position\nMust be physically able to walk and stand for extended hours\nMust be physically fit and able to lift, push, or carry up to 50 lbs.\nMust have excellent customer service and communication skills.\nMilitary veterans and former police officers encouraged to apply.\n\n*This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by this employee.
