Algorithm and Code Logic Instructor
We are looking for passionate Algorithm and Code Logic instructors to teach USACO (USA Computing Olympiad) students in after-school programs, weekend workshops, and camps. You don't have to be professional on said subjects, but you need at least to be willing to learn and communicate with students. We will have bootstrap training for Qualified candidates, the experience in Algorithms and Code Logic is preferred.
We maintain a low teacher-student ratio (about 1:1 or 1:2) where possible and keep students and instructors together throughout an entire course for a meaningful experience. Instructors will take on a number of basic responsibilities:
Lead weekly concept-based coding subject and algorithm classes
Guide students to apply Computer Science subjects and Coding Logic in problem-solving previous USACO questions to prepare them for the competitions.

Requirements
Interest in learning Algorithms and Code Logic
Have experience with data structures and basic mathematical analysis
Familiar with coding in either C++, Java or Python and their respective basic data structures
At least one afternoon/evening available per week
Enjoy working with kids of all ages
Exercise patience and humility
Preferred Experience (but not necessary)
Have experience with Medium Level LeetCode questions (or similar)
Have experience with coding competitions (e.g. TopCoder, ACM-ICPC, Codewars)

About Coding Minds Academy
Founded in the fall of 2017, Coding Minds Academy (http://codingmindsacademy.com/) seeks to educate students of all ages in computer science through interactive lessons and enriching programming projects. There are multiple sites located in California, and we are expanding online programs for students nationwide and abroad. We offer after-school programs, weekend workshops, camps, and 1-on-1 mentorship. We believe in the learn-by-doing philosophy, so all of our coding curricula involve development of real world applications, such as robotics, mobile apps, and games.
