This position is perfect for those seeking to contribute their technical skills to support the US Navy and enhance the safety of our sailors.\n\nThe Team Submarine's Submarine COLUMBIA Class Program Office plays a vital role in:\n\nThe construction of COLUMBIA Class submarines\n\nFinancial and budget management\n\nShipyard support for submarines\n\nVendor support for submarines\n\nLogistical support\n\nQuality assurance (SUBSAFE)\n\nPost-delivery submarine certifications and test programs\n\nJoin a unified organization designed to streamline submarine-related activities, enhancing communication and efficiency in the submarine research, development, acquisition, and maintenance communities. Led by Navy veteran David Drury, our team has received accolades for its outstanding contributions to contracts and programs.\n\nThis position is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.\n\nYour responsibilities include\n\nSupporting PMS397 design and construction to meet survivability requirements.\n\nIdentifying and resolving technical issues, facilitating decisions, and reviewing design products.\n\nServing as a liaison with other PMS397 team members and NAVSEA05 Technical Warrant Holders (TWH).\n\nBeing a primary customer contact, providing project updates.\n\nBuilding strong relationships with the program manager and other team leads.\n\nLeading program reviews discussing cost, schedule, and technical performance.\n\nProviding acquisition management planning and execution support.\n\nLeading technical discussions and preparing formal briefings.\n\nPerforming additional duties as assigned.\n\nTo thrive in this role, you need\n\nThe ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance.\n\nA Bachelor's degree in a technical or related field.\n\nAt least 2 years of relevant work experience.\n\nExcellent communication skills, both written and oral.\n\nStrong time management and interpersonal skills.\n\nThe ability to multitask effectively.Willingness to travel up to 10%.\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Office.\n\nFlexibility in job specifications and schedules.\n\nProblem-solving capabilities.\n\nAdditional desired qualifications\n\nExperience with Navy acquisition and/or in-service programs.\n\nPreferably, active duty experience in the submarine service.\n\nRecent experience with Team Submarine is ideal.\n\nCompany Overview\nAt Serco Inc., we value the contributions of our 9,000+ employees across 100+ locations in North America.
