The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Mainframe expertise coupled with proven experience in delivery leadership, project governance, and cross-functional team management.\n\nThe role requires working closely with business stakeholders, architects, project managers, and offshore delivery teams to ensure successful execution of projects, enhancements, production support, and modernization initiatives.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDelivery Management:\n\nLead end-to-end delivery of Mainframe projects, enhancements, and support engagements.\n\nDrive project planning, estimation, execution, monitoring, and closure activities.\n\nEnsure adherence to SLA, KPI, quality standards, and delivery commitments.\n\nManage project risks, dependencies, issues, and mitigation plans.\n\nProvide regular delivery status updates to client stakeholders and leadership teams.\n\nOnsite-Offshore Coordination:\n\nServe as the primary liaison between client teams and offshore delivery teams.\n\nFacilitate requirement discussions, walkthroughs, clarifications, and solution reviews.\n\nCoordinate daily/weekly governance meetings and project reviews.\n\nDrive prioritization and work allocation across distributed teams.\n\nEnsure seamless communication and knowledge transfer between onsite and offshore teams.\n\nStakeholder Management:\n\nBuild strong relationships with business users, IT leadership, and program stakeholders.\n\nGather business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.\n\nManage customer expectations and drive issue resolution.\n\nPresent project status, risks, and recommendations to senior management.\n\nTechnical Leadership:\n\nProvide technical guidance to development, testing, and support teams.\n\nReview solution designs, code quality, and implementation plans.\n\nLead troubleshooting of complex production issues.\n\nSupport modernization and transformation initiatives involving Mainframe applications.\n\nTeam Leadership:\n\nMentor and coach developers, analysts, and support engineers.\n\nConduct performance reviews and skill development initiatives.\n\nFoster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.\n\nThe pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $32.36/hour - $50.56/hour.
