What You'll Do (Responsibilities & Expectations)Inventory Management Accurately track, count, and record inventory levels on a daily/weekly/monthly basis. Perform regular cycle counts and reconcile discrepancies between physical stock and system records. Maintain proper labeling, organization, and storage of all inventory items. Assist with forecasting inventory needs to prevent overstocking or shortages. Data Entry & Systems Update inventory management software with incoming and outgoing stock. Generate and review inventory reports for accuracy. Ensure compliance with company procedures for inventory documentation. Receiving & Shipping Verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and packing slips. Inspect materials for damage or defects and report issues promptly. Prepare and package orders for shipment while meeting accuracy and timeline requirements. Collaboration & Communication Work closely with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to ensure smooth inventory flow. Communicate shortages, delays, or issues to supervisors and relevant departments. Support audits and compliance checks as needed. Meet productivity, accuracy, and timeliness goals consistently. Demonstrate strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. What We're Looking ForRequired: High school diploma or equivalent 13 years of inventory, warehouse, or supply chain experience Comfortable using inventory management software and Excel Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Able to lift/move up to 4050 lbs Good communication skills Ability to pass background check and drug screening Preferred: Associate's degree or certification in supply chain management, logistics, or related field. Experience with ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, or similar). Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and best practices. Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma principles for process improvement.
