Marketing Specialist
Job Description The Marketing Specialist supports strategic marketing efforts across the Mid-Atlantic Region. This role contributes to high-impact regional marketing initiatives such as event execution, industry group support, and proposal development. This position collaborates closely with regional directors, industry leads, the broader proposal team, and business partners to ensure effective delivery of regional marketing goals and polished, high-quality output.Essential Functions And Primary Duties Events/Sponsorships/Webinar Support Assist with coordinating off-site sponsorship events, including trade show booth setup, collateral, promotional items and other logistics as needed. Support the coordination of in-person and virtual client, prospect and referral source events, including development and distribution of invitations, managing RSVPs and event logistics, and assistance with speaker presentations. Ensure all event attendees and activities are entered into Salesforce and flagged for relevant nurture campaigns and follow-up coordination to drive lead conversion Work closely with executive sponsors on event logistics, run-of show, targeting Coordinate post-event feedback collection and metrics reporting Coordinate sponsorship agreements, manage fulfillment of sponsor benefit deliverables, and process related invoices in collaboration with Accounts Payable Proposal Support Support regional proposal requests, including review, interpretation, and response development for Request for Proposals (RFPs). Collaborate with the broader proposal team, offshore team, and business partners to develop polished final deliverables; experience supporting Not-for-Profit and/or Government RFPs is a plus; maintain team bios and industry experience as needed Regional Industry & Service Team Support Attend industry group meetings and assist regional marketing lead, as needed Assist with internal meeting planning, materials, content tracking, and event coordination Support campaign and event planning specific to the assigned industry Regional Marketing and Business Development Support (Shared Responsibility) Manage project intake tracking, Smartsheet and assist with project coordination with the CoE Ongoing maintenance and updates to professional bios and headshots repository to keep current Help maintain Teams channel, shared resources, and content and file management Organize internal documents Maintain marketing collateral libraries and update as needed Tools & Platforms Understand and maintain fluency in key platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, Smartsheet, Project Management Platforms. Includes proactively seeking training to continue to stay current Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 2-5 years of marketing experience, preferably in professional services (accounting, law, consulting). Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with CRM, marketing automation, and project management tools. Strong PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office skills required Experience with marketing automation software, such as Pardot, is a plus Experience with Salesforce a plus Experience with video conferencing platforms, such as Zoom or Microsoft Teams, a plus Design experience and knowledge of Canva, Asana (or other project management software) is a plus Experience articulating message points and positioning in business development/sales documents Effectively interact with all levels, from Managing Directors through to administrative personnel Excellent written and oral communications skills required Strong client service focus and results-driven attitude Strong grammar, proofreading, and analytical skills Team player who is also self-motivated and can work independently with minimum supervision Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent is requiredMust maintain current required lecenses and certifications relevant to field of expertiseDemonstrates the ability to communicate berbally and in writing throughout all levelsof organization, both internally and externallyEffective customer service skillsProficient use of applicable technologyAbility to work in team environment as well as independentlyAbility to analyze and prioritize multiple responsibilitiesAbout UsCBIZ, Inc.
