Aiming to create simple and compelling developer and client experiences, the DevOps Engineer will be required to design, maintain, and manage infrastructure configuration with the goal of achieving a continuous deployable system while maintaining an exceptional level of service delivery for all our clients. We are looking for someone that is experienced in building scalable and efficient cloud infrastructure with built-in monitoring for automated system health checks. Candidates will be required to interface directly with technical leads, software architects, other business groups, and key stakeholders demanding exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.\n\nThe Ryan Application Development Team promotes an open-minded atmosphere of learning and growth and expects the same from candidates. This role is a formative one for the future of application development within Ryan, LLC and will be best filled by candidates hungry to have a huge impact.\nDuties and responsibilities, as they align to Ryan’s Key Results\nPeople:\nCreates a positive team member experience.\nSupport and assist development teams as needed.\nClient:\nProactively provide updates to CI/CD pipelines and tooling around them.\nImplement and maintain monitoring and alerting systems\nBuild and maintain production systems ensuring high availability and scalability.\nValue:\nOversee routine maintenance procedures and perform diagnostic tests.\nSubmit recommendations to application development teams for upgrades and enhancements.\nContribute to efficiency improvements through process automation\nDocument and maintain system design and functions\nPerforms other duties as assigned.\nEducation and Experience:\nBachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent related work experience. Three or more years of practical applications development experience in a DevOps or System Engineer capacity.\nComputer Skills:\nTo perform this job successfully, an individual must have strong knowledge of Azure, AWS, Azure DevOps, Windows Server, Microsoft SQL Server, SQL Server – Availability Groups, scripting (Python, PowerShell), automation (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.), and containerization technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes.\nCertificates and Licenses:\nValid driver’s license required.\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\nThis position has no supervisory responsibilities.\nWork Environment:\nStandard indoor working environment.\nOccasional long periods of sitting while working at computer.\nPosition requires regular interaction with employees at all levels of the firm as well as interaction with external vendors and clients as necessary.\nIndependent travel requirement: up to 10%.\nCompensation:\nFor certain California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $96,000.00 - $126,060.00\nFor other California based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,000.00 - $115,610.00\nFor Colorado based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $84,000.00 - $110,330.00\nFor Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,000.00 - $115,610.00\nFor other Illinois based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $84,000.00 - $110,330.00\nFor New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $96,000.00 - $126,060.00\nFor other New York based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $80,000.00 - $105,050.00\nFor Washington based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $88,000.00 - $115,610.00\nThe Company makes offers based on many factors, including qualifications and experience.
