In this position you will utilize your analytical and communication skills to integrate new platforms and processes to VA Enterprise Service Desk. You will have the opportunity to hone and develop your communication skills through written and oral communications to internal and external customers at all levels of the organization.\nHOW A FUNCTIONAL ANALYST WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:\nData Collection / Documentation and Analysis:\nFacilitate Discovery Calls to gather information for new Process Integration opportunities.\nDevelop VISIO process flows for the “To Be” state, in coordination with VA personnel, the Process Integration team, Subject Matter Experts and the Knowledge/Training/Operation Management teams to ensure a seamless transition to the Service Desk.\nGather and analyze data related to process performance, identifying trends, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.\nDevelop and maintain a risk register that track and prioritizes identified risks.\nCollaboration and Coordination:\nMaintain a Virtual Task Board to ensure accurate tracking of Process Integration efforts.\nInterface and collaborate with VA personnel and other vendors to ensure seamless operation and data flow across different departments or functions within the organization.\nCollaborate with other departments including IT, operations, and management to align process improvements and integrations with overall business goals.\nCoordinate testing and validation of process changes and system integrations to ensure they meet business requirements, potentially involving simulations or pilot programs.\nCollaborate with other departments to manage risk-related matters.\nCoordinate Operational Readiness Reviews to ensure that process changes and system integrations function as expected.\nWHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED:\nBA/BS and 2+ years of related experience or equivalent years of experience\nActive ITIL v4 certification within 30 days of hire\nExperience in Microsoft Project or similar technologies\nExperience in Visio or similar technologies\nAbility to obtain and maintain Public Trust with the VA\nNICE TO HAVES:\n1 year or more of experience on the VA Service Desk\nExperience in risk management\nGDIT IS YOUR PLACE:\nFull-flex work week to own your priorities at work and at home\n401K with company match\nComprehensive health and wellness packages\nInternal mobility team dedicated to helping you own your career\nProfessional growth opportunities including paid education and certifications\nCutting-edge technology you can learn from\nRest and recharge with paid vacation and holidays\nThe likely salary range for this position is $53,703 - $72,657.
