This is a dual-role position responsible for supervising 7 off-site warehouse personnel, while managing the off-site warehouse operations. This position combines leadership and supervision, inventory management, and maintenance of equipment and supplies. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The position is a hybrid position with on site work in both White Plains, MD and Dahlgren, VA and the ability to telework.\nResponsibilities:\nWarehouse Operations:\nManage inventory, including receiving, storing, and tracking parts, materials, and equipment.\nSupervise the organization/maintaining of warehouse spaces to ensure cleanliness and efficiency.\nSupervise the fulfillment of orders by overseeing the picking, packing, and preparation of items for shipment.\nOversee regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify shortages.\nSupervise the monitoring of stock levels and coordinate with procurement teams for replenishment.\nDuties:\nPerform receipt inspection and acceptance; collect and record inspection data; document non-conformances and propose corrective actions.\nConduct preventive maintenance on mechanical equipment and warehouse tools.\nEnsure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in both engineering and warehouse activities.\nSupport the engineering team in material sourcing and project planning.\nTrain and guide team members on warehouse and mechanical processes as required.\nQualifications:\nEducation:\n\nIndividual shall possess a Bachelors’ degree in any technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university. In lieu of the education requirement, individuals shall have a minimum of ten (10) years of Department of Defense (DoD) related business experience in Plant Property & Equipment / Asset Management.\n\nExperience:\n\nTen (10) years of management experience in material accountability, major project or program level management of contractors/subordinates, and performance of physical inventories.\nTechnical Skills:\nProven skill supervising and leading a diverse workforce.\nProficiency in reading and interpreting contract documents and reports.\nKnowledge of quality assurance processes and industry standards.\nSoft Skills:\nStrong organizational skills and attention to detail.\nEffective communication and teamwork abilities.\nProblem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.\nPhysical Demands:\nAbility to lift and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds regularly.\nFrequent standing, bending, walking, and kneeling in warehouse and workshop environments.\nComfortable working in varying conditions, including temperature fluctuations and noise.\nManual dexterity for operating tools and equipment with precision.\nPay will be determined based on qualifications, education, etc.\n\nSECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level.
