Position Overview Agile Group is seeking a Technical Editor & Program Communications Lead to serve as the final quality gate for program deliverables and communications. This fully remote role partners closely with Program Managers and leadership to ensure documents, graphics, and reports are clear, accurate, consistent, and client-ready. This role blends technical editing, visual quality control, and communications leadership. You will review and refine written and visual materials, guide standards, and occasionally support corporate communications and proposal efforts as bandwidth allows. Limited travel, typically 3 to 5 days per year, may be required for collaboration or stakeholder engagement. Key Responsibilities Edit and quality-check program deliverables including technical reports, schedules, graphics, and presentations. Serve as the final review checkpoint prior to leadership and client submission. Translate complex technical or project information into clear, concise, and compelling content. Review and refine graphics and layouts using Adobe Illustrator and InDesign, ensuring professional, client-ready presentation. Maintain and enforce templates, style guides, and editorial standards across programs. Draft executive-level summaries, correspondence, and briefing materials. Support corporate communications such as internal newsletters, recruiting materials, and onboarding content. Provide occasional proposal and compliance review support. Act as a trusted communications partner to Program Managers and leadership. Requirements: Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field. 7+ years of experience in technical editing, program communications, or similar roles. Demonstrated ability to edit complex technical content and visual deliverables for client delivery. Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook). Experience reviewing PDFs and markups using Adobe Acrobat. Comfortable working in a fully remote, collaborative environment. Preferred Skills Experience supporting federal clients such as USACE or DoD. Familiarity with proposal development and compliance-driven deliverables. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop. Experience with SharePoint and Teams for document collaboration. Proficiency in PowerPoint, including slide design, visual storytelling, and basic video production or editing. Ability to support HR, recruiting, or internal communications as needed.
