This role oversees device staging, logistics, asset governance, and lifecycle processes to support onboarding, offboarding, and acquisition integration at scale. The position plays a critical role in maintaining audit readiness, operational efficiency, and high-quality employee experience. In this role, you will support many different enterprise IT systems, improving cost effectiveness, and service quality.\n\nThis is an in-office role, based in our Charlotte, NC office.\n\nWhat You'll Do\nOversee daily depot operations, including imaging, enrollment, staging, and kitting of devices (Windows via Autopilot/Intune, macOS via Jamf or equivalents)\nManage shipping, receiving, returns (RMAs), and logistics coordination across the United States\nMaintain appropriate spares inventory and device buffers to support rapid onboarding and break/fix scenarios\nOwn the IT asset lifecycle from procurement through deployment, reassignment, and disposal\nMaintain accuracy of asset records across systems (e.g., ITSM, Intune, CMDB, asset tools)\nEnsure secure handling, storage, and disposal of equipment in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards\nOptimize depot workflows for efficiency, quality, and scalability\nEstablish and enforce asset governance policies aligned with audit frameworks (e.g., SOC2, internal controls)\nLead regular asset audits, reconciliation processes, and inventory validations\nTrack hardware lifecycle, depreciation, and refresh cycles\nPartner with HR, Service Desk, and Identity teams to ensure seamless Day 1 readiness and secure offboarding\nOffers a strong understanding of the user experience (both internally and externally), executes and refines business processes, systems, technology, data, and information systems to achieve and exceed business outcomes\nProvide recommendations and partnerships for technology solutions including the creation of technical proposals and soliciting cost estimates\n\nWho You Are\nThe preferred candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, and/or minimum of 5 years of experience in IT asset management, endpoint deployment, depot operations, end-user computing, IT logistics, or a related technology operations role.
