This role ensures operational excellence across complex, multi-year initiatives by driving performance, strengthening stakeholder relationships, and aligning delivery activities with VA and organizational strategic objectives.\n\nKey ResponsibilitiesProgram Leadership & Execution\nLead execution across large-scale VA programs, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality targets are met.\nDevelop and maintain detailed program plans, risk registers, and performance dashboards to promote operational discipline.\nDrive issue resolution, action tracking, and dependency management across internal teams and partners.\nStakeholder Engagement\nServe as a senior point of contact for VA stakeholders, ensuring alignment with evolving needs and priorities.\nPrepare and deliver program updates, executive briefings, and performance reports for VA and internal leadership.\nData Analysis & Reporting\nConduct advanced analyses to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.\nTranslate complex data into actionable insights that support operational and strategic decision-making.\nDefine and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure measurable program outcomes.\nOperational Excellence\nLead continuous improvement activities to optimize efficiency and reduce program risk.\nEnsure compliance with contract requirements, organizational policies, and federal health regulations.\nCollaborate with finance, contracting, and project teams to support forecasting, resource planning, and budget adherence.\nCross-Functional Collaboration\nCoordinate across technical, clinical, operations, and business teams to maintain cohesive program delivery.\nMentor and support junior analysts and project staff to strengthen execution capabilities across the account.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in business, public administration, health administration, analytics, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.\n8+ years of experience in federal program management, program analysis, or operational leadership, preferably supporting VA or federal health agencies.\nDemonstrated experience leading execution across complex, multi-stakeholder programs.\nStrong analytical skills with experience interpreting operational, financial, and performance data.\nExcellent communication skills, including senior-level briefing and stakeholder engagement experience.\n\nWork Requirements\nYears of Experience\n\n8 + years of related experience\n\n* may vary based on technical training, certification(s), or degree\n\nCertification\n\nTravel Required\n\n10-25%\n\nSalary and Benefit Information\n\nThe likely salary range for this position is $140,250 - $189,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
