Selected candidates must have experience translating concepts and specifications into usable and efficient client/customer facing applications using Java/JEE technologies\n\nLocation: Washington, DC Metro Area\n\nTravel: No travel required. Onsite Monday – Friday\n\nCompensation: DOE\n\nSecurity Clearance: Ability to obtain a government agency public trust\n\nResponsibilities:\nDesign and develop application code using Java/JEE, XML, SOAP, REST, Spring Framework, and Hibernate Framework\n\nDesign and develop JUnit test code\n\nWrite/set up Ant and /or Maven to build, package, and deploy application code to the target JEE Application Server\n\nConfigure application resources in WebLogic application Server such as Data Sources and Messaging resources\n\nUtilizes a working knowledge of J2EE/Java and Spring, and Hibernate to troubleshoot technical issues (error messages, bugs with the software, availability)\n\nParticipate in a Scrum/Agile team, attend stand-ups and estimate complexity for stories and tasks assigned\n\nEnforce code quality through test driven development\n\nProactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes\n\nContributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project lifecycle\n\nRequired Skills/Experience:\n3+ years experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using J2EE or related technologies, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field\n\n3+ years experience in designing and developing using Java/JEE, Spring, Hibernate, other common third party libraries(Apache), and Web Services (REST)\n\n3+ years experience developing message-oriented integration solutions with Java/JEE\n\n3+ years experience writing JUnit tests\n\n3+ years experience with Maven and/or Ant build tools\n\n3+ years experience in database development using Oracle or SQL Server database technologies\n\n2+ years experience with Scrum, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, User Acceptance Testing\n\nDesired Skills/Experience:\nExperience configuring and troubleshooting application in Oracle Weblogic and JBOSS Application servers\n\nThorough understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum\n\nA wide variety of testing tools and techniques, ex.
