We design and deliver propulsion and defense systems that solve the most urgent and critical national security demands.\nResponsibilities Support the leads of all major programs in defining, validating, and maintaining requirements.\nBuild system-level qualification plans for Solid Rocket Motors (SRMs).\nTrack requirement verification status through product development and qualification.\nReview test and analysis plans and reports to assist with confirmation that requirements are met.\nDevelop Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (FMEA), Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Age-Sensitive Items Analysis (ASIA) and other system documents for SRM programs.\nSupport system-level risk analysis and mitigation; own and carry to closure all system-level risks.\nDevelop Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) models of SRM systems.\nCommunicate with management and customers on requirement compliance at program reviews.\nCreate and manage system engineering tools and processes.\nProvide technical guidance and mentoring to systems engineering associates to advance their proficiency.\nRequired Qualifications B.S. in Aerospace, Systems or Mechanical Engineering (or other related technical subject area).\n1-3 years experience applying aerospace systems engineering processes – design reviews, requirements validation and verification, failure and risk assessments.\nDemonstrated organization skills.\nAbility to earn trust and maintain positive and professional relationships.\nDesired Experience Familiarity with requirements management tools such as DOORS or Jama.\nExperience with MBSE and Cameo.\nFamiliarity with government and DoD contracts and specifications.\nSecret clearance or ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.\nSRM or other propulsion system design, development, or test.\nColorado law requires us to tell you the base compensation range of this role, which is $81,000 - $101,000, determined by your education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
