You'll plan, implement, manage, and oversee all finance, accounting, and cash-related activities, ensuring accurate reporting, timely close cycles, and strong financial operations.You'll serve as a strategic advisor, often functioning as a fractional CFO or VP of Finance, guiding executives through decision-making, developing financial procedures, and building the systems that support business growth. In this dynamic consulting environment, you'll "wear many hats," adapt quickly, and consistently exceed client expectations.This role is ideal for a forward-thinking leader who is confident, analytical, and eager to make a meaningful impact across multiple high-growth companies.What You'll Do:Manage financial operations, develop financial procedures, and oversee their implementationPrepare or direct preparation of financial statements and monthly reporting packages for Board presentationsServe as fractional CFO or VP of Finance, reporting directly to C-level executivesLead the budgeting and forecasting processIntegrate and optimize financial technologies and systemsApprove agreements involving financial commitments, vendor contracts, and expendituresCoordinate work with third-party consultants, auditors, and tax advisorsManage accounting staff and provide final oversight of: Month-end closeAccounts payableBilling and accounts receivableBank reconciliationsShort-term cash forecastingMonthly journal entriesPerform ad hoc financial and operational analysesWhat You'll Have:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceMinimum 6 years practical accounting/finance experience4 years management experience in accounting/finance environmentAcute business judgement with ability to see "big picture", prioritize and make business recommendationsAdaptability to working in both independent and in team environmentsExperience driving collaboration and communication across an organization to enable success and growthExcellent analytical skills with ability to take action, offer recommendations, and make decisions with incomplete informationStrong understanding of technical accounting issues and GAAPStrong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS ExcelStrong interpersonal and presentation skillsProficiency in various ERPs a plus (QBO, Intacct, Sage, NetSuite)Team player, committed to supporting and developing othersWhy You'll Love Working With Us:At 512Financial , you'll join a collaborative, growth-focused consultancy where no two days look the same and your impact truly matters.
