The selected candidate will ensure our policyowners receive mailings that are in good condition and presented in an organized fashion. Processes mail according to quality standards and established guidelines.\n$16.00/hourly + experience\nJob Responsibilities:\nPerforms a variety of tasks to maximize production and efficiency of the Mail Processing Center.\nOperates various pieces of machinery (inserters, MBO Folders, staple machines, GBR folders) in order to produce, assemble and distribute different mailings.\nExercises precautions to ensure the safety of self and others while facilitating the production process to ensure deadlines are met.\nOperates various machines to maintain production, as required.\nJob Qualifications:\nHigh school diploma or equivalent is required.\nExperience in a mail processing or manufacturing environment is preferred.\nAbility to score a minimum of 70% on Attention to Detail pre-employment tests and achieve average Proficiency Score (or better) on the SRA Reading and Math Indexes.\nAbility to work under pressure of mail dates, machine pacing, and productivity standards.\nBasic math skills to complete production balancing.\nStrong ability to distinguish between a number of highly similar forms.\nAbility to concentrate and remain mentally alert while performing routine tasks for 3-4 hours.\nPhysical ability to remain standing for long periods of time while operating machines and lifting heavy boxes up to 60 lbs.\nAbility to manually make relatively fine adjustments for effective machine operation.\nEffective human relations skills to complete job duties using cooperation and teamwork.\nAbility to learn and follow all safety guidelines and regulations.\nStrong attention to and ability to follow safety procedures.\nAbout us:\nHealth.
