The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, keen attention to detail, advanced computer skills in all facets, and demonstrates the ability to multi-task in a chemical plant environment\n\nJob Duties & Responsibilities:\n\nCommunicate directly with shippers (customers sending products to the rail terminal via railcar).\nWork in an industrial environment\nProcess customer orders using various computer inventory systems and complete all necessary paperwork.\nCreate and manage a daily load schedule\nSchedule motor carriers\nVerify work instructions via customer data sheets\nRed tag railcars if necessary\nVerify that motor carrier drivers are entered into the INA system prior to loading.\nEnsure proper weights of loads are met before releasing drivers and verify bill of laden\nOversee that loaders are taking necessary customer samples and entering those samples into the inventory management system.\nJob Qualifications:\n\nPrior experience utilizing SAP is preferred\nPrior experience working in a chemical plant, industrial or manufacturing work environment is a plus, but not required\nMust be proficient in Microsoft Excel\nMay require a valid Driver’s License and / or a valid TWIC card, depending on work location\n18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.\nPass a drug screen, physical, and background check\nWear all required PPE without restriction and pass any required medical exams\nSpeak, write, read fluent English\nRegular on-site attendance and punctuality is required\nPrevious military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.\nWhy join the PSC team?\n\nSince 1952, PSC Group has had a strong reputation for quality service, safety, environmental protection, and taking care of our employees.\nWe are a leader in product handling and site logistics for refineries, chemical producers, and marine transportation providers.\nThe work we do makes a huge impact in our nation's economy.
