We’ve only begun to scratch the surface of Starlink’s potential global impact and are looking for best-in-class engineers to help maximize Starlink’s utility for communities and businesses around the globe.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES\n\nProcess engineering position responsible for PCBA/microelectronics manufacturing for Starlink hardware\n\nManage new product introduction of PCBA/microelectronics assemblies, qualifying new equipment, designing line layout, designing tooling, working closely with design engineers, and driving design for manufacturing (DFM) feedback\n\nImplement, simplify, and automate high reliability manufacturing processes such that the production teams can operate independently of engineering\n\nIdentify trends and opportunities for optimizing product output, quality enhancements, and cost of manufacturability\n\nDrive processes for volume production of PCBA/microelectronics including manufacturing execution, nonconforming product management, configuration management, traceability tracking, yield improvement, and process control\n\nManage work instructions, process documentation, and process training\n\nBASIC QUALIFICATIONS\n\nBachelor's degree in science and engineering discipline\n\n1+ years of professional experience in at least one of the following areas: manufacturing process engineering, surface mount technology (SMT), accelerated testing, design for reliability, or PCB design and layout, research and development (R&D)\n\nPREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE\n\nHigh volume production experience (consumer goods, automotive, etc.) or ramping of a production line as part of a cross-functional team\n\nHands‑on experience working in PCBA/microelectronics/semiconductor manufacturing processes. Knowledge of IPC/JEDEC manufacturing standards\n\nExperience with Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and manufacturing metrics (e.g., CPK, yield, OEE) in production environments\n\nDemonstrated track record in developing new processes, improving efficiencies, and successfully transferring to production in a rapidly growing, fast‑paced environment\n\nCompetency with SQL, Python\n\nExperience with NX or other CAD software\n\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\n\nAbility to work both autonomously and as a team in a highly demanding, fast‑paced environment\n\nADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS\n\nAbility to lift heavy objects, up to 25 Ibs. unassisted\n\nWilling to work weekends and extended hours as needed\n\nCOMPENSATION AND BENEFITS\nPay Range:\n\nLevel 1: $105,000.00 - $122,500.00\n\nLevel 2: $120,000.00 - $150,000.00\n\nYour actual level and base salary will be determined on a case‑by‑case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job‑related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.\n\nBase salary is just one part of your total rewards package at the company. You may also be eligible for long‑term incentives, in the form of company stock or long‑term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
