You will work daily with our CEO and co-founder on account strategy, messaging, and outbound execution. Strong performance opens a clear path to Account Executive and beyond.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESGenerate qualified pipeline through personalized outbound to controllers, CAOs, CFOs, VPs of financial reporting, and technical accounting directors at high-growth private companies, public companies with complex accounting, and top advisory firms. You research the account, write the email that gets read, and book the meeting.Run multi-channel outbound across email, LinkedIn, and phone. You sequence the touches. You measure what works. You kill what does not.Represent UpDraft at industry conferences. FEI, Gartner CFO Symposium, AICPA ENGAGE, Digital CPA. You book meetings on the floor, follow up within 24 hours, and bring real opportunities back into the pipeline.Qualify inbound leads from the website, events, and investor introductions. Separate signal from noise. Route the real ones into discovery fast.Own pipeline hygiene in HubSpot. Stage progression, data quality, documentation. A controller in your pipeline never falls off the radar because of stale CRM data.Participate in discovery and demo calls. Build deep product and customer fluency. Progress toward owning early-stage conversations independently.WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FORWe are hiring for three qualities above all else:Ambition. You aim to build a career in technology sales, with the drive to exceed quota, earn commission, and grow into senior roles. Send us a story of when you outworked the room.Strong written communication. You can write outbound that a controller or CFO will actually read. Specific, researched, and clearly written by a human for a specific person.AI fluency. Daily, fluent use of modern sales and AI tooling like Clay, Apollo, HubSpot, ChatGPT, and Claude. You build workflows. You judge AI output. You adapt as new tools ship.Two to four years in an SDR or BDR seat at a technology or SaaS company, with a documented history of hitting or exceeding quota. Experience selling into finance, accounting, or the Office of the CFO is a plus. A bachelor's degree is helpful but not required.WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE AT 90 DAYSYour outbound is producing qualified meetings every week.Your HubSpot pipeline is clean enough that the CEO does not have to ask about a deal twice.You have shipped at least three measured outbound experiments, with a clear read on what worked.You are participating in discovery calls and showing real product fluency.COMPENSATION AND LOCATIONCompetitive base, performance bonus tied to qualified meetings and pipeline generated, and meaningful equity in a fast-growing AI company.
